There is no free Windows Vista download available. The only place that Windows Vista can be downloaded legally is through Microsoft's website, and all operating systems must be paid for before downloading. If one comes across a "free" download of Windows Vista, the likelihood that it comes with a virus is high, not to mention it would be an illegal copy of the operating system.
Its actually a rouge Anti virus a.k.a virus posing has a anti virus . Dont even install it . Use Anti Malware bytes to get rid off this virus . Recommend me if you liked my Answer
Yes but it depends if you are using the same service like vista or Microsoft or Apple.
Generally, Linux is considered very secure from viruses. If you exercise general safety behavior, it is unlikely that any virus will enter your system. Even if a virus does get through into the Virtual Machine, it will only affect your Ubuntu install, not Windows.
The virus is on the hard drive so if you get a new hard drive the virus will be gone. A cheaper option would be to just reinstall the operating system though. (Vista, Win 7)
it depends on what virus it is if it is just a basic easy to get rid of virus then you should just use a antivirus program to get rid of it, the damage that a virus can cause: it works its way into the windows system and wipes it completely and then no system information can be read and then the computer is no good but that is if you have a windows xp or vista disk depending on what system you want to put it on(xp or vista) can put back the windows system files back on the computer
WIndows Vista or Linux OS would have the best protection.
The best thing to do is Buy Anti Virus software. You can always Restore your Computer to a recent version if your on XP or Vista. Vista makes Restore and Recovery the easiest
Usually when there's virus in a laptop / pc, you will experience problem loading in to your Operating system (e.g. WindowsXP/Vista). You will also notice that whenever it reaches a stage where the system is suppose to load your operating system, virus will make it undergo 'restart' again and again.
