100% Pure water is not a conductor (insulator)
However, please remember, minerals in not 100% pure water are conductors and there are about 10 million minerals in 1 cup of water. It can electrify you.
So becareful.
Water Graphite is an excellent electrical conductor.
Water

A vacuum is a non conductor.
Graphite is a non-metal conductor due to its structure that allows electrons to move freely between its layers.
They conduct better because then they break up into ions
Water vapor is a poor conductor of electricity because it is a non-metallic and non-ionic substance. While water itself can conduct electricity due to the presence of ions in solution, water vapor in its gaseous state does not have the same capacity to conduct electricity.
Pure water itself is a poor conductor of electricity because it is a non-polar molecule. However, water can conduct electricity when it contains dissolved ions or impurities which increase its conductivity.
Distilled water is a poor conductor of electricity because it lacks ions and impurities that are needed for the conduction of electric current. Pure water molecules do not dissociate to form ions easily, making it a non-conductor of electricity.
is water conductor or insulator
no,they are not metals
No actually something like water is a good and fimiliar conductor but to get down to the science water is H2O. Two hydrogen atoms (hydrogen is a metalliod which is between metal and non-metal but is considered to be more non-metal) and one oxygen atom (oxygen is a non-metal) both together make H2O which is water and is a great conductor (but not as good as some metals are).
