Only 1% of Portugal receives fluoridated water in a few select areas - www3.hants.gov.uk/briefing_paper_for_4_sept_meeting_final.doc
Because substances move from areas of higher concentration to areas of lower concentration, the water would move either in or out of the cell. In the fresh water, there was a lower concentration inside the cell, so the water moved into the cell. In the salt water, there would be less water on the outside of the cell, so the water would move out of the cell.
Polar areas have frozen water. They are too cold to receive rain. The North Pole sits on an ice cap over an ocean. The South Pole sits on a glacier. So there is lots of water with little precipitation.
because the land is so dry that it can not absorb all of the water. Therefore causing erosion.
Oceans are large areas of water and water does not heat up or cool down as quickly as land does. The reason for this is that water has a higher specific heat than land; it takes more energy to raise the temperature of water than it does to raise the temperature of land. So areas along the coast tend to have weather that does not vary much.
Pluto's density suggests a composition of 30% water and 70% rock. Bright areas of the surface seem to be composed of ices, but we've never actually been there, so we can't say for certain.
Yes, water can be fluoridated, and sometimes the tap water you drink is already fluoridated. Nevertheless, it can cause adverse health effects. Indeed, children who drink fluoridated water are at increased risk of developing fluorosis, a defect of the permanent teeth resulting in staining and, in severe cases, substantial corrosion of the enamel. According to the Centers for Disease Control, about 30 percent of children who drink fluoridated water have some degree of fluorosis. The National Academy of Sciences has also raised concerns about fluoride exposure and bone fractures in the elderly, skeletal fluorosis, thyroid hormone disruption, and neurotoxicity (including effects on IQ). In addition, there is evidence that fluoridated water is linked to osteosarcoma, an often fatal form of bone cancer, in boys. Furthermore, it is dangerous to give your infant formula made with fluoridated water. Both the Centers for Disease control and the American Dental Association now recommend that children under 6 months not consume fluoridated water. This is because infants are at increased risk for tooth damage (dental fluorosis) when they consume fluoridated water (especially when formula made with such water is their only source of nutrition), and because there is little evidence that ingesting fluoride before teeth erupt provides any benefit. So fluoride exposure should be limited to toothpaste, where it provides the greatest dental benefit and presents the lowest overall health risk.
Fluoride water is not a generally used term. We speak of fluoridated water when fluorine compounds are added to water supplies to protect against tooth decay. In the US this is usually achieved by adding sodium hexafluoro silicate, Na2SiF6or hexafluorosilicic acid, H2SiF6 to water, H2O. This makes a mixture, not a compound, so there is no new formula.
you need just the right amount of fluoride for optimal health (prevention of cavities). If the water in your area is fluoridated, then usually you do not need supplemental fluoride (you can look this up for your city). If the water is not fluoridated, then you should take supplemental fluoride, though it is most effective if applied as a varnish by a dentist. Too much fluoride can discolor the teeth (fluorosis), so you really shouldn't take supplements unless you know you need them.
No I don't think you can because there is water shortage happening in Portugal and one of the main ways that mosquitos can carry malaria is when there are large amounts of water around. So it's highly unlikely to catch malaria in Portugal.
so portugal can be rich
I presume so...
Portugal has a president so live wit it!!
75% of the Earth is covered in water, so definitely water. If you counted all the water stored in ice-caps it would be even higher.
Blue is water. So animals that live in water.
Frogs can only survive in areas with permanent water and such areas are rare in a desert.
Portugal is on the coast so it has no border country on its right, however Spain is on the left of Portugal
Mst common brands of tea, although Green tea contains the highest levels, you can reduce it by drinking it weak and fresh and with milk. Grape juice, any processed food products made in areas which already have fluoridated drinking water so buy fresh food and organic food. Most brands of toothpaste especially in the USA so shop around for non fluoridated brands. Trace elements of fluoride occur in most products so try to avoid the worst examples as its bioaccumulative and builds up in the bones and teeth over time. Its not essential, definitely toxic and doesnt even protect teeth but actually damages them with fluorosis, giving brown stains, and are often an indication of skeletal fluorosis, making bones brittle.
