say your already in uniform motion, if you push or pull against the direction of motion it will decelerate to zero , then accelerate in the opposite direction. if you push or pull in the direction of motion, it will accelerate
It is the pulling force applied multiplied by the displacement of the object being pulled in the direction of the pulling force.
Whatever direction somebody or something is pulling or pushing. The details depend on the situation. cw: "What is the direction of a force?" The (new) direction that the mass accelerates. F=mA
The use of a pulley allows you to translate the direction of an applied force, for example to lift something by pulling sideways, or to use the force of gravity (e.g. body weight) against itself. You do not have to be moving in the same direction in which the force is to be applied.
That simply means that when analyzing forces, the direction is quite often relevant. For example, if two people push an object in the same direction, the result will not be the same as if they push in opposite direction. A vector is simply a physical measurement that has both a magnitude (number) and a direction.
The total force depends upon the magnitude and direction of the two forces. -If the two people are pulling with equal forces in opposite directions, then the resulting force=0, because the two forces cancel out. 33 -If the two people pull in the same direction with 3 N of force each, then the resulting force=6 N in whatever direction they are pulling. 3

The force exerted by the girl in pulling the toy car is in the same direction as the distance covered when the force is applied.
In general car pulling is to save the fuel..in Economics car pulling is what a people are staying in one apartment using a single vehicle for transportation respectively where all people are working in same place.....these can be called as car pulling

This would be the same as 'pulling strings.' This is when people gain favorable decisions or actions of others by using their acquaintence with influential people. Lol no
When an object is pulled, it moves in the direction of what is pulling it.
Probably for the same reason that most right handers prefer pulling into a parking lot on the left ;)
Answer 1 - This is because of friction. Answer 2- This is because the force you exert must be in the same direction as the objects motion. So the part pulling forward does work, when the force pulling upward does not.
