If you are lactose intolerant, it is probably a good idea to avoid whey products. Whey is a byproduct of the cheese making process; while it might not contain as much lactose as milk, it can still cause stomach problems for the lactose intolerant.
Yes
no reason why he cant there are types of it for all people including lactose intolerant people
i dont People don't eat ice cream if they don't like it, or if they are allergic to milk, soy, or whey. people who are lactose intolerant
If milk is heated it will "curdle". Then the liquid part can be removed (the whey) and what is left (the solids) can be tolerated.
It depends. In it's natural state, liquid whey does contain sugar. As for powdered supplements, there are two catagories of whey protein powders. 1) whey concentrate 2) whey isolate Whey concentrate contains lactose which is milk sugar. People who have trouble digesting this type of sugar are described as "lactose intolerant". Whey isolate is much purer and contains very little lactose. Therefore, most people who are lactose intolerant can use a whey isolate product and not have any problems. Beware - there are a lot of companies that blend a little whey isolate into their whey concentrate and then try to deceive you into thinking that it's 100% isolate. They use tricky wording on the label. Read the label very carefully. Is it really pure isolate or do the just use a little bit of 100% isolate? You should not see the word "concentrate" anywhere on the list of ingredients.
Whey is the watery byproduct of cheese manufacturing which contains protein, lactose and other solids. As whey is further processed to achieve higher protein levels (i.e., whey protein concentrate and whey protein isolate). whey permeate is the byproduct. Whey permeate, also known as deproteinized whey or dairy product solids, is composed largely of lactose (approximately 80%), a natural sugar found in bovine milk.
Yes it is natural in milk.
Its very safe actually studies have shown that 90 % of people that mix a can of monster energy eith whey protein are more likely to be smarter then those who just use whey protein by itself.thank you this has been brought to you by your mom
