We can do it after editing by clicking on the 'File' and go to 'Save Movie' and then go to HD..
No. You can't. Not in Windows Movie Maker anyhow.
You have to convert the Flip videos to a file name extension (format) compatible with Windows Movie Maker (or Windows Live Movie Maker):.asf, .avi, dvr-ms, .m1v, .mp2, .mp2v, .mpe, .mpeg, .mpg, .mpv2, .wm, .wmv
It can go with Final Cut Pro, Imovie, Windows Live Movie Maker, if you have the HD version, any HD editor.
Download and install the Windows Live Movie Maker 2011.
How are you trying to import the video? With Windows Movie Maker, Windows Photo Gallery (or other program)? Windows Photo Gallery should work for importing your hd camcorder video. Windows Movie Maker is rather persnickety with importing (my experience anyhow). Open Windows Photo Gallery and click on File, Import from Scanner or Camera.
With HD movie Maker, you can make HD Movie from any videoby yourself.http://www.downloadatoz.com/f/hd-movie-maker/make-hd-movies-from-any-video-by-yourself_g.html
As long as the video is in a format compatible with Windows Movie Maker:.asf, .avi, dvr-ms, .m1v, .mp2, .mp2v, .mpe, .mpeg, .mpg, .mpv2, .wm, .wmv
The overall quality of videos created in Windows Movie Maker depends on the source of media imported (high-quality, vhs quality, HD, etc.) . If you are trying to make video you have in your movie look better than the source actually is, you can't.
For HD in Windows Movie Maker (v2.6); > Click on Publish to --- this computer > Name the movie and choose a save destination > Click Next > Choose More Settings - Open drop-down menu > Select from list
Video files imported into Windows Movie Maker have to be compatible with the program. Most DV camera and camcorder formats are not compatible. If the video file has one of the following file name extensions, it can be imported and edited in Windows Movie Maker:.asf, .avi, dvr-ms, .m1v, .mp2, .mp2v, .mpe, .mpeg, .mpg, .mpv2, .wm, .wmv
