I have found it to be common to leak from the 'lower' oil pan. It is a two-part pan, with the upper being aluminum, and the lower oil sump being steel. It is this interface where the leak occurs.
Remove the Allen head bolts, clean RTV sealer from the factory, install $10 gasket from parts store with a bit of sealer. Done.
Also, have read of quite high oil consumption figures, so keep an eye on it!!
Best of Luck!
engine oil is 5w-30 but it actually depends on the climate where the vehicle is at. you can go higher or lower viscosity. i preffer synthetic oil..
they all lose oil dont fix it cause you cant it will always leak
remove the drain plug... wait for old oil to drain. remove oil filter wait for oil to drain. install new oil filter. reinstall drain plug. fill with correct oil till full.
Driver side of engine above the support for the wheel in a concealed area. When you drain the oil spills on the support and splashes.. an oversized flat container is recommended
If it is a 3.2 V6, it's the spark plug tube seals.
All of that has to come off and the gasket replaced. Get you a manual on it from AUTOREPAIR2000.COM The problem is not a gasket. The leak is coming from your oil cooler which is problematic and prone to leaking. Replace the unit and your leak should stop. Good luck
