two of my friends died their hair. the first did a contrast and dyed the underside of her strait brown bob blonde. the second accented her hair by dying the underside of herlong red hair a similar red but more maroon.
if you streak your hair it will most likely look unnatural. if that's not what you're going for, i recomend some well blended blonde highlights (if you can't tell that the hair was dyed and the 'lights look like the affects of much sun, it's well blended) or some golden-red streaks. red is common in brown hair, especially if you spend much time in the sun, like with blond steaks-everyone's different.
my hair is brown but i spend as much time in the sun as i can get so it's a lighter shade in some places and slightly red in others.
in conclution, i advise you to not put black streaks in your hair. in my opinion, black just stands out too much and it would look like your hair was lightened everywhere but where your hair is black. go with either red or blonde-but in moderation.
*as a side note, black hair is really very dark brown hair. if you start with black hair and manage to lighten it naturally, it would turn brown and then eventually lighter.
black, brown, and blonde is like the hair spectrum. i don't know how red fits in there.*
EXTENSIONS or THE NEW EXTENSIONER
Black would go great, or a dark brown.
No. It would look awful.
If you are getting your sister hair extensions, I would not recommend randomly buying a set of extensions, and then presenting them to her. Good hair extensions need to be fitted to the person's head and hair color. Check out hairextensions.com.
Yes, you can, but why would you????/ Everything that makes for a good tattoo takes contrast, that is why they are usually outlined in black. Without the black outline the color wouldn't look as crisp and sharp. The only way your brown outine with brown shading would look good would be if you used a really dark brown outline with a lighter brown shading....And you know what the bummer would be? Brown is a color noted for its ability to lose color in the skin.....So think before you act...Tatubaron
Dark brown or amber
dark brown or black
That would be a good subtle look for you. I'd go for it.
If your wife wants eyelash extensions, then I don't see why that wouldn't make a good gift. She would probably be excited to not have to do it herself.
This would not look very good, Black shoes would be more appropiate.
For good quality extensions, expect to pay $200. GOOD human hair extensions are not cheap.
a black dress is always good but some sort of lavender or teel would be good
