Well no woman ovulate the exact same time each month and the sperms might not be good enough or you might not have been ovulating at all etc. There are many reasons one can not conceive. If nothing has happened after 18 months both of you can see a doctor. Until then keep trying and take a test 2 weeks after sex to find out for sure if you are pregnant or not.
