According to The Bible... there are TWO DEATHS.
The first one is "appointed" to all men.
It's the second death from which we may be saved by faith in Christ.
"And as it is appointed unto men once to die, but after this the Judgment: so Christ was once offered to bear the sins of many; and unto them that look for Him shall He appear the second time without sin unto salvation." (Heb.9:27-28)
"He that hath an ear, let him hear what the Spirit saith unto the churches; He that overcometh shall not be hurt of the SECOND DEATH." (Rev.2:11)
"...and the dead were judged out of those things which were written in the books, according to their works... this is the SECOND DEATH... whosoever was not found written in the Book of Life was cast into the Lake of Fire." (Rev.20:12-15)
