Heaven is a definite place described in the Bible. Jesus IS there, but he is a physical being inhabiting heaven, He is not Heaven itself. Good question.

The Bible says that Jesus ascended into heaven and _will_ return, not that he has returned. Others in the Bible who were taken directly into heaven: Elijah (in a chariot of fire), and apparently Enoch (God took him, seemingly without him dying first). Also, Mohammad is said to have ascended into heaven. There is a lot more to read on the topic. Of course, if you meant "heaven" in a less traditional way, then every astronaut who survived a trip into orbit and back could be said to have "ascended to heaven and then returned to earth."

The symbol for heaven is the feast that the father gave when his son returned. If Israel had accepted Jesus as their Messiah there would have been rejoicing in heaven
