In 1888, a monument was erected on the Boston Common to the men killed in the Boston Massacre, listing all their names, and to the cause of the American Revolution.
I don't know their names, but I know that were born in MA.
It was an incident on 5 March, 1770. British soldiers shot at american colonists and killed 5 of them. Later it was called a 'massacre' by the Americans to increade hatred against the British.

Eleven people were hit during the Boston Massacre. Ropemaker Samuel Gray, mariner James Caldwell, and a mixed race sailor named Crispus Attucks were killed instantly. Seventeen-year-old Samuel Maverick, died in the early morning of the next day, whilst thirty-year-old Irish immigrant Patrick Carr died two weeks later.
