my 2003 diesel Sedona has the 'sedimenter' at the bottom of the fuel filter - it collects water and crap from the fuel. Needs emptying (by unscreing the sensor at the bottom of the filter and letting the water/bits run out) every 2 years of 20k miles. Or simply replace the filter, they're cheap off eBay.
