The tribes that fought the Incas included the Mapuche and the Shuar. The Spanish were the Inca Empire's final enemies. They took their land and stole their goods.
The Incas declined because the Spanish that invaded their land killed them and used them as slaves, also because since the Incas were not immune to the Spanish diseases they brought, most of them died.

In 1533, spanish invaders led by Francisco Pizarro, found the Inca tribes and drove them out of their land. He them raped that land of all value (back then, gold was very abundant there) and left!
