The Green Anaconda is called as the world's largest snake but it is only the heaviest. The longest snake in the world is the Reticulated Python. Reticulated Pythons can grow up to 33 ft(10.5 m) and 335 lbs. The Green Anaconda can weigh around 400 lbs - 500 lbs, but only reaches 25 ft (8 m).

The previous largest snake was Titanoboa.Titanoboa grows around 40 feet long and the biggest fossils were measured 45 feet long and 1.7 tons.
