It does not,it's just a waste. Just swallow them, you don't want paracetamol in your nose nor codeine since, again, it goes to waste there. And the paracetamol dosages are no-joke, do not take more in one day than 3000mg worth, and not even that, PLEASE don't be so stupid.

No it isn't normal unless you are overly sensitive to any type of medication. Some pain killers containing codeine derivatives (Empracet, Atasol, Percocet, etc.) or some antibiotics (Clindamycin) can cause nausea.
