Unfortunately, yes.
If you're having a hard time getting the dungeon done within three days, try slowing down time by playing the Song of Time in reverse. If it's a later dungeon, once you go back in time you can quicly warp to the boss stage of dungeons you've already defeated, this really helps. Just stand in the glowing circle in the first room of the dungeons.
