Olmec was the talking stone head who was the guardian of the Hidden Temple since it was his Temple and in seasons 2 and 3 he was given more responsibilities such as explaining the rules of games, asking the tie-breaking question at the end of the third Temple Game if it was needed and giving a guide in regards to his Temple as well as giving the teams info on their pendants and the Temple Guards.
