It depends which planet you are on. On Earth an planetary year is 365 +/- days. On Saturn a single year is almost 30 earth years.
Typically, this length of time is called a "year". Each planet's year is a different length than that of the other planets and increases as the planet is further from the Sun.
The length of a year is determined by the Earth's orbital motion around the Sun. Specifically, it takes approximately 365.25 days for the Earth to complete one full revolution around the Sun, which defines the length of a year. This orbital period is influenced by gravitational forces and the elliptical shape of Earth's orbit, as described by Kepler's laws of planetary motion.
A planetary year is the amount of time it takes a planet to orbit the Sun. A planetary year on Earth is 365.26 days.

I would define a "planetary year" as the time it takes to make one complete orbit around the sun. The farther from the sun you go the farther the distance one orbit is (larger radius = larger circumference). The length of the planetary year depends upon the distance from the sun and the orbital speed of the planet. This website has some handy information about the planets in our solar system. http:/wwwzperiodzenchantedlearningzperiodzcom/subjects/astronomy/planets -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- It should be noted however that some farther away planets have shorter planetary years than earth and some closer planets have longer planetary years (due to orbital speed).

A planetary year is one orbit of a planet around the sun.
Jennifer Heldmann, NASA Planetary Scientist, was born in 1974.
Approx 687 days.
The time it takes for a planet to finish a orbit around the sun.
Time = distance3/2Kepler's 3rd Law of Planetary Motion gives this relationship:The cube of the average distance from the Sun is proportional to the square ofthe period of revolution (year). So: (Distance)3 is proportional to (year)2
The salary of a planetary scientist can vary depending on factors such as experience, education, location, and employer. On average, they can make anywhere from $60,000 to $120,000 per year.
