There is no evidence of extra-terrestrial life but it is believed to be very likely.
Currently it is not known. With current technology, we are not able to detect the presence of life on other planets even if it does exist. However, we now know that planets are relatively commonplace, which many scientists believe strongly suggests that life must exist elsewhere in the universe.
No life has been discovered on other planets yet. However, given the huge amount of planets in the Universe, and the fact that hardly any planet has been thoroughly investigated, it's quite possible that life does exist.
Seen as earth is a planet in the universe, life does exist within it. Statistics say that because the universe goes on infinitely, many billions of planets will have water on them and the correct atmospheric conditions for life to exist. However, we'll never find this information out in our lifetime, as other planets are many millions of light years away, by which time, global warming may have destroyed our planet etc.
The likelihood of other forms of intelligent life existing on other planets is difficult to determine definitively. However, given the vastness of the universe with billions of galaxies and planets, many scientists believe it is probable that other forms of intelligent life could exist elsewhere. Ongoing research in astrobiology and the discovery of exoplanets have fueled interest in the search for extraterrestrial life.
No one knows
There are probably a billion stars in our galaxy, and probably a billion galaxies in the universe. We already know what there are planets orbiting many other stars; if there are planets around only 1% of the stars, that's still 100 billion planets. If only 1% of those planets are habitable, that's a billion habitable planets. If only 1% of those planets HAVE life, that's 10 million planets with life. If only 1% of the planets that have life have highly-developed life forms, then there are 100,000 planets with highly developed life forms. If only 1% of those planets have intelligent life, that's still 1,000 planets in the universe that have intelligent life; "aliens". We have NO IDEA if there are any other planets that have life, or intelligent life in the universe, or if those aliens - if any exist - might be willing or able to communicate with us. But I would like to think so.
We all wonder if we are alone in the universe and if organic carbon is found on mars it confirms that life can exist on other planets, and maybe advanced life exists. Water is also associated with the search for life on other planets. IF THERE IS WATER THERE MAY BE LIFE. Another advantage for the finding of water on Mars is to use as rocket fuel for further exploration of the universe.
Yes, it is possible that there are other Earth-like planets in the universe. Scientists have discovered thousands of exoplanets, some of which are in the habitable zone of their star where conditions might support life as we know it. Future missions and advancements in technology may help us identify more Earth-like planets.
Well it truly depends on your beliefs everyone has their own opinions there has been said to have found evidence of other life existing in other planets and other planets that may have a chance of existing life in the future well i hope that answered your question I'm glad to help
At this time we have no evidence of any extraterrestrial life.
Astrobiology is the study of the origin, evolution, and distribution of life in the universe, including Earth and potentially other planets. It seeks to understand the conditions necessary for life to exist and explores the potential for life beyond Earth.
It can't because there isn't any oxygen or water. Earth is the only planet with water and oxygen. Everything they say about there being fossils and stuff is all a fake..well there is actually water methane and ammonia on other planets there just isn't oxygen that we know of(That's not entirely true, to our knowledge the is not life on other planets, however with a hundred million galaxies or more out there each with about a hundred million stars, with possibly billions and billions of planets revolving around said stars, is possible that there is life on other planets in our known universe. and it can exist because we know there is life that started on at least one planet, so there may be more.)==========================================================================================There are billions of galaxies in our universe and these galaxies have trillions of stars, and out of all this huge numbers a hundred or maybe a million planets can hold life. So you can't deny the fact that there could be life on some corner of the universe. But dude, this universe is so grand that I think contacting these creatures is just IMPOSSIBLE.
