Photosynthesis is the phenomenon of preparing starch by green plants in the presence of sunlight.
Technically, ATP is produced only in the light reaction, their are 18 ATP molecules formed in it. In the dark reaction, ADP is formed by the breaking of the second and third phosphate group in ATP. Though overall in photosynthesis ATP isn't produced, it is formed in the light reaction, then broken in the dark, then recycled into the light, no over all gain or loss.
The light-independent reactions are sometimes referred to as the dark reactions, though that term may be misleading as they do not actually require darkness to proceed. The term "light-independent" is used to emphasize that the reactions occur regardless of the amount of light present as long as the proper substrate compounds are available. Even this term can be criticized, however, as the availability of substrates in plants depends on photosynthesis, so the reactions cannot be said to be entirely "light-independent." Furthermore, the term "dark reactions" may be more accurate in CAM (Crassulacean acid metabolism) plants, which only take up CO2, which is necessary for the reactions to proceed, at night.http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Light-independent_reaction
The energy balance for the overall reaction does not determine if the reaction needs energy input to occur, or not. The requirement, or not, for energy input, depends on the activation energy and that is independent of the overall enthalpy change. There is no answer to your question - it could be any, all or none.
in photosynthesis the light energy converted into chemical energy. carbohydrates forms, corbon fixes in leaves. all the metabolic activities in plant body depends on the energy tapped through photosynthesis. metabolic activities are must & should for all living organisms for their survival.when photosynthesis not peformed,1.all the metabolic activities will stop2. due to that growth stops3.senescence will occur4.slowly & slowly plant leads to death & it will die.-Oxygen would be eliminated from the atmosphere. -Carbon would fulfill its role, causing global warming.-Producers would die, not being able to gain nutrients from photosynthesis and respiration.-The food chain would perish due to all the dead producers. If there was no photosynthesis, the provision of oxygen by the Ocean's phytoplankton and the Earth's plants would be lost. Also it would lead to an increase in the degree of global warming as noxious poisons accumulate in the atmosphere. And the FOOD CYCLE would be disturbed as The Food Chain starts with plants as they produce glucose through photosynthesis.
Photosythesis is a process where the plant gets food from it's surroundings; carbon dioxide, sun's heat, water and soil nurients in turn for giving out 0xgen. How old are you? I knew that when I was nine and I'm fifteen now?!
It solely depends on the reactions.
yes, it depends on the chemical reaction.
It depends on the reaction and whether you can get the original products.
The inputs of the Dark Reaction are NADPH, ATP, and CO2. The NADPH and ATP, which were produced in the Light Reactions, fix the carbon into a carbohydrate such as glucose. Enzymes are also needed for the Dark Reaction to take place. One such enzyme is Rubisco, which interacts with CO2 and RuBP in the first step of the Dark Reaction.
depends what you are trying to do and loads of stuff dose a chemical reaction.
Depends what the chemical reaction is. In all reactions energy is given off. In lot's of reactions also water (Hyrdodgen Oxide/ H2O) and CO2 in some cases. Hope that helped.
It depends on which reaction he is doing - be more specific
Everything that your body does, from the beating of your heart to the thoughts in your brain, depends upon a series of chemical reactions. The basic reaction which produces the energy needed to drive all the other reactions is the reaction of sugar and oxygen. Without that, everything stops.
It depends. There are two types of chemical reaction int his sense. Exothermic reactions release energy and endothermic reactions absorb it.
It depends on the plant; some have modifications that allow different parts of the plant to do most of the photosynthesis. Typically, the leaves do the most photosynthesis. They are broad and flat that allows increased surface area for reactions.
soemtimes yes - sometimes no. It depends on the reaction.
Light dependant reactions in photophosporilation can either be cyclic of non-cyclic. It all depends on the organism.
