One and the easiest and inexpensive dinners is spaghetti, or pasta and sauce. Cook pasta according to the directions on the package, adding a teaspoon of oil to the water helps keep it from being sticky. Take ready made pasta sauce and add some chopped drained seasoned tomatoes and heat. Can be served in a large bowl with some Parmesan cheese on top. It can be served with a salad and some garlic bread (make your own with an unsliced loaf of bread cut lengthwise topped with some butter and garlic powder toasted in the oven under the broiler on low).
Raffaele Esposito is considered one of the fathers of the modern pizza. The Italian in question lived in the southwestern peninsular Italian city of Naples. Legend suggests that pizza traditionally represented a poor person's food topped by garlic until the chef in question thought of pioneering Italian flag-reminiscent green basil, red tomatoes, and white mozzarella cheese for a royal visit in 1889 by King Umberto I (March 14, 1844 - July 29, 1900) and Queen Margherita of Savoy (November 20, 1851 - January 4, 1926).

Focaccia bread is a type of Italian flatbread that's soft, fluffy, and usually baked with olive oil, herbs, and sometimes toppings like garlic, tomatoes, or onions. It has a texture that's kind of like pizza dough, but a bit more airy and chewy. People often eat it as a side with pasta, soup, or even on its own as a snack. It’s super tasty, especially when it’s warm and fresh out of the oven!
