you don't. you replace the whole regulator assm.
Damper? I assuming you are talking about the regulator it is usually on the upper intake connected to the fuel injector assembly.
It is built into the alternator, You will have to replace the alternator.
Check fuel pressure, fuel pressure regulator.
I think the fuel pump is the regulator on fuel injected engines. The FPR is located on the driver's side of the engine, it has a vacuum hose going to it and is held on with a spring clamp similar to AC connector clamp. On most 1996 Chevy Tahoes the fuel pressure regulator is actually inside the intake manifold. You must remove the intake manifold to replace it.
Inside fuel tank, removed from driver fuel rail in 2004
The voltage regulator in the alternator is probley weak. Replace the alternator
YES.
Have a leak down pressure test done on the fuel system, you may have a leaky fuel pressure regulator or a faulty fuel pump.
Possible bad fuel pump, fuel pressure regulator. Give more symptoms
You must replace the entire regulator. Here's howhttp://www.ricksfreeautorepairadvice.com/repair-topics/window-power-repair/replace-a-power-window-regulator
On my 98 Tahoe under the bumper behind the are where the tag is located you just pull the light assembly out. It has a little pressure clip. replace light and replace assembly the same way.
