It includes the coils and is bolted to the passenger side of the engine block. It is best accessed from under the vehicle.
The ignition control module on a 2000 Blazer with the 4.3 is mounted on the same bracket that the coil is mounted to.

I believe in 93 they had the newer style computer, this eliminated the electronic spark control module.

Generally if the spark control module on an engine is bad, the car will run roughly. It will likely miss and die at low idle speeds.
