They don't have one! They have a drain plug at the bottom and a fill hole on the side. You need to fill to the bottom of the fill hole.
the transmission dipstick on all vehicles are on the right side of the engine toward the back in a small dipstick that usually has a locking knob to keep the expanding transmission fluid from leaking out of the top of the dipstick its not hard to miss your transmission check stick should be labeled, except on this model / year of land rover which is a sealed system that must be taken in to a dealer / mechanic to check (as per conversation with service dept. when asking for exact location of dipstick).
Use the dip stick tube.
The automatic transmission will have a dip stick location on a 1982 Honda Civic. Pull the dip stick to see the color and texture of the fluid.

Its underneith the car by the transmission pan the cap on the engine block is just where you would fill it.
Starting in 2002 the Ford Explorer 4 door does not have an automatic transmission dipstick
To the left of the Transmission Fluid stick. It on a little "T" valve.
in the trunk on the right hand side is a trim that can be removed inside is the location of reservoir.
If it is a 2000-01 tiburon they have a sealed transmission so you would not have to worry about checking it.
The 1995 Ford Escort transmission dipstick can be found on the back side of the engine, near the firewall. The dipstick will have a yellow handle.
