If the low speed on the cooling fan of a 2003 Pontiac Aztek isn't functioning, it could be due to a faulty fan resistor or relay, as these components regulate fan speeds. Additionally, check for any wiring issues or blown fuses that may affect the fan's operation. If the fan works at high speed, the motor itself is likely fine, and focusing on the resistor or relay would be the next step. Testing these components with a multimeter can help identify the issue.
On a 2003 Pontiac Aztek, the thermostat is located near the engine, specifically at the engine's coolant outlet, which is typically connected to the upper radiator hose. To access it, you may need to remove the engine cover and possibly some other components for better visibility and access. Be sure to allow the engine to cool down before attempting any work on the cooling system.
Take it to a mechanic to work on the cooling system.
No.

In a 2003 Pontiac Aztek, the starter solenoid is typically mounted on the starter motor itself. You can find the starter motor located on the lower part of the engine, near the transmission. Access may require getting under the vehicle, and it is often easier to reach from beneath or through the wheel well. Always ensure the vehicle is securely lifted and supported before attempting any work.

I wish I knew a better answer. My Aztek's lights can be turned off by turning the key to off position and then manually rotating the light button on the top left one click clockwise and then back all the way to the left. If I do this before I turn the key off, the damn thing will turn the lights back on again. Wish I had a better answer. It is clear that the Aztek designers thought God knew best when to turn its lights off and on.
The ticking noice from under the hood comes from the cooling of the thin metal work near the exhaust system. The ticking is it cooling off and shrinking slightly.
The blower motor speed resistor is burned out.
Check the cable isn't broken, or loosely connected !
Hi, If you count OFF, then the fans have 3 speeds: 1) OFF, 2) Low (half speed), and 3) High speed. If you would like more detail, I have included a link to how the cooling fans work in these vans. Good Luck, Greg
If you have a 2 stage furnace (hi fire & lo fire) then the blower will run on lo speed in lo fire & hi speed in hi fire and in AC mode. If it`s a single stage furnace lo speed for heat and hi speed for cooling.
