During the Cell Cycle phase known as M(Mitosis)-phase. This occurs directly between S(Synthesis)-phase and G(Growth)-phase.
Together they are known as inter phase. It take place before m phase.
It is known as a lot of things such as the M Phase, because the "M" stands for Mitosis when the cell divides into 2 new "Daughter Cells."
Interphase is the part of the cell cycle depicted before the M phase (mitosis). It includes the G1 phase (gap 1), S phase (DNA synthesis), and G2 phase (gap 2), which prepare the cell for division during mitosis.

M Phase
Cell cycle comprises of 4 phases namely, G1, S, G2, & M phase. In mitotic cells M phase is as mitotic phase & In meotic cells m phase indicates meotic phase. So, the phase before mitotis is G2.
M phase is the phase in which cell divides into two daughter cells.
Interphase and M phase are two main stages of the cell cycle. Interphase is the phase where the cell grows and prepares for division, while M phase is the phase where the cell actually divides into two daughter cells through mitosis. Interphase is necessary for the cell to replicate its DNA and organelles before entering M phase. In summary, interphase precedes M phase and is essential for the cell to successfully divide.
Mitosis begins during the M phase of the cell cycle, which is also known as the mitotic phase. This phase includes mitosis, where the nucleus divides, and cytokinesis, where the cytoplasm divides, resulting in two daughter cells.
