  1. IT tools replace some/all human tasks automatically in certain job functions/areas
  2. IT tools does the cost much. If IT tools just a couple of dollar it won't effect to organizational structure :)
  3. IT tools must be stable and consistent in decision making (free of bugs of unknown error) otherwise human will trust using excel or other spreadsheet application on supporting decision making

Summary

At the end the using of IT Tools will replace some human activities in organization. It will impact to :

  1. Reduce number of head count. Company's board of management will reduce small number or maybe big number of head count in company. They will tell to some employee : " Thanks for your contribution within this year ... you're fired !" :).
  2. Reduce working time of employee. Time is money then time = money. Less time less money :). Company will say "Since we have a great tools reducing lead time of your job, we will pay you in hourly basis not monthly basis".
  3. The "head count reduction" program will trigger demonstration from labor union or ex. employee of the company. The worst, it will trigger lawsuits against ex. "broken-heart" employee.

It's just a matter how elegant you handle the impact of using of IT Tools in your organization.

What wise man said ...

Be remembered, IT Tools will NEVER replace human tasks at all. It's just a tools, we still need employee to operate & activate it. IT tools cannot replace human art. That makes life, organization become more dynamic with human art touch.
