I saw ANOTHER ONE AT A PAWN SHOP WE FINALLY AGREED THAT THE OLDER RIFLES HAD THE SAFETY REVERSED
i don't think so, i have one that is only marked RC
It should be marked on the barrel
Is this gun marked Marlin MR-7? If so, Marlin Firearms Co. can give you info on these newer guns.
Look on the barrel, it will be marked as to the proper ammunition.
No such model. Exactly how is the rifle marked? sales@countrygunsmith.net Marlin has a Model 39A in 22 L.R. I would love it if they made one in magnum.
Only if that is what is marked on the barrel. 22 LR and 22 WMR are not interchangeable.
An Illegal forward pass is marked from the spot of the foul.
Its probably a model 1894 & should be marked as such on the upper tang. Prior to the model 1894 Marlin made a Model 1889 in the same calibres that was not marked. But, a 1889 should only have 2 patent dates, 1887 & 1889 I believe. It is possible you have a model 1889 with a model 1894 barrel on it.
It should be marked on the barrel if it has the Marlin micro groove rifling. The model 25m was made from 1989-2003.That being said it will if it was a early made rifle.
The caliber should be marked on the barrel near the receiver. The Model 39 is a 22LR
Your marlin should be marked on the side of the barrel as to which type of 22 ammo it needs.example of 22 short,22long.22 long rifle,22magnum.
All of the Glenfield-marked Marlin firearms were produced for mass-marketers such as Wal-Mart, K-Mart, etc. They are mechanically the same as the standard Marlin guns but have hardwood stocks instead of walnut, simpler sights, etc. Designed to sell for less money than the standard Marlin model.
