To defeat Mashtooth you have to fight him with Bunston's power Monstar. you will not win the first time but it will give you a second chance to fight him. but you will not be Monstar anymore.... instead you will just be starfy and try beating him before Mashtooth becomes surrounded by blue fire. When you are done with a that, Mashtooth will become stronger and more powerful. all you have to do is hit his face (his HUGE face) and avoid his lightning attacks.(the thin lightning doesn't do any harm but the THICK ones do). soon Mega Mashtooth will through astroids ( rocks ) and u have to use your star spin to deflect them and throw it back to him. at the end you have to push back starfys world that mashtooth sends you by pressing y rapidly...... and wait until you pass the level........... :) Then on da title screen starfy has sunglasses! :D X3

If you are talking about the last boss of the last stage in the 'main story' it is Mashtooth who is a space pirate and has two parts one harder than the other. If you mean the VERY last boss in stage 10 then it is Old Man Lobber who is much harder than Mashtooth.

If you mean video 23, you have to beat Big Bossdown using Starly. If you mean video 24, you have to beat Mashtooth twice and don't skip the credits (but you can skip the video).
How do you get to world ten in the legendary starfy?
First of all, you have to had defeated all the bosses and Mashtooth (and bigger and more powerful Mashtooth whom you fight in the air). Then at the end it'll tell you all the new features you've unlocked. One of them is Big Bossdown(or whatever it is). You can chose to fight as Starfy or Starly.It's a time trial game where you must beat all the bosses you met and defeated as fast as you can. In order to win the Mystery Stage (stage 10) you must beat all the bosses at least under 9'00'00 and score 100 points. It's a bit difficult but it's possible. Good luck!
