Steven Randall, or Randy, Jackson (born 29th October 1961 in Gary, Indiana) is a singer and a musician; he can play congas, drums, keyboards, piano, bass and guitar.
He is the eighth child of the Jackson family, before sister Janet, but the youngest brother. He joined his brothers when they moved from Motown to CBS/Epic and formed the Jacksons. At the age of 16, he co-wrote many of the most successful songs of the band, and also worked with brother Michael on his Off the Wall album. After the Jacksons split up in 1989, Randy formed his own band Randy & the Gypsys, who released one album. He also has his own record label.
Randy has been married once, to Eliza Shaffe, and they have one daughter, Steveanna. Randy also has three other children, Genevieve, Randy Jr. and Donte, with Alejandra Genevieve Oaziaza, but the couple split up in 1994.
