To replace the driver seat motor on a 2002 Mercedes CLK 430, first disconnect the car battery to ensure safety. Remove the seat by unscrewing the bolts that secure it to the floor, then carefully disconnect any electrical connectors. Once the seat is removed, access the motor by taking off the seat cover and unbolting the faulty motor. Install the new motor in reverse order, reconnect the electrical components, and reattach the seat to the floor before reconnecting the battery.
If you worked non-stop, that would be 4 hours.
I had a problem with the break switch this spring. Took both plugs off the back of the switch. Hit them with contact cleaner, now it is fine. Brian Butts
In a Mercedes-Benz 430, the fuel pump is typically located inside the fuel tank. Accessing it usually requires removing the rear seat and the fuel pump access cover or, in some cases, dropping the fuel tank itself. It's essential to take safety precautions, as working with fuel systems can be hazardous. Always refer to the specific service manual for your vehicle model for detailed instructions.
The rear cabin air filter on a 2004 Lexus LS 430 is located behind the rear seat. To access it, you typically need to remove the rear seat cushion, which may require unfastening some clips or bolts. Once the seat is removed, you can find the filter compartment that houses the cabin air filter. Make sure to consult the vehicle's owner's manual for specific instructions and safety precautions.
