The crime control model and the due process model Which aspect of the system do you believe?

This question is more appropriate for a poll as it is a matter of personal beliefs. The due process model is concerned more with individual rights versus the crime control model's concern for a more orderly society with little regard for individual rights. I personally believe more in the due process model rather than the crime control model. I believe more in, say, my right to be free from unreasonable searches and seizures, or making self-incriminating statements than the government's right to something like "we don't need no stinking Miranda warnings, want to taste the rubber hose again?" Why was Rousseau an anti-communist?

Jean-Jacques Rousseau is often considered anti-communist because he emphasized the importance of private property and individual rights, which he believed were essential for personal freedom and social order. While Rousseau critiqued inequality and the corrupting influence of wealth, he argued that property ownership was a natural extension of individual liberty, which contrasts with communist ideals that seek to abolish private property. His vision of the social contract focused on a collective will that respects individual autonomy, rather than a communal ownership model. Thus, his ideas laid a foundation for individualism that runs counter to the principles of communism.
