Yes, money does cause people to feel stressed. Without money, one would be davastated and feel worthless, like they cannot do anything because they are not supporting themselves. It makes one feel bad, for the simple fact that they have to depend on someone else. But when that other person, such as her mom or dad, are not buying her things, it makes one feel worse.

Children live in a kind of protective bubble, in effect. Teenagers are just becoming old enough to engage in risky behavior, so that is the time when they need to learn about why it is risky, and how to protect themselves. All the risks of the dangerous adult world are opening up to teenagers.
