Better is a relative term. I would need to know what your needs are and what your budget is. There is no "Flat" better per say. Better depends on the needs of the user.

Well, 1 gigabyte is 1024 megabytes, so 1GB is better.
The 160 GB model is the better of the two, the 320 GB offers twice the memory for only $50 more (price of a game or controller)
