Windows 7 version of Windows Movie Maker is actually an Essentials program called Windows Live Movie Maker. It is a stripped-down version of Windows Movie Maker v2.6.
Though it doesn't have all the functionality and features of its predecessor, Windows Live Movie Maker does have Title and Credits, which is where you will find a box to place text into.
Has to be done separately unfortunately. No batching at all in Windows Movie Maker.

To change the credit text color in Windows Movie Maker:> Once you've got your credit text placed, click on change the text font and color> Click the 'A' button below the word Color> A color menu appears. Choose a color, then click Ok.
