YOU WILL NEED TO REPLACE THE MAIN CONTROL COVER WITH THE FOLLOWING PART #'S. F6RZ-7034-BA, F4RZ-7G004-AA AND F7RZ-7034-CA THIS IS A REMOTE VENT KIT, MAIN CONTROL COVER AND VENT TUBE ASSEMBLY. THIS IS A TECH SERVICE BULLETIN FROM Ford. IT CAN BE FOUND ON MOTORS/ ALLDATA SITE ALSO.

With the car running and level loosen the Allen bolt in bottom of the trans pan, if nothing comes out then remove the breather cap on the left front of the trans just above the pan and add fluid until it comes out the hole the Allen bolt was removed. Reinstall the Allen bolt and breather cap. Breather cap fits tight but just pulls off.

It might be a partially plugged trans fluid filter. Take it in for service and see what they find. If it's plugged with fiber from the clutch packs, the trans is just about finished anyway.
