My 2002 Dodge Stratus accelerate nicely upto 110mph and wont go over no matter how hard u push and its not redlining how do you unrestrict the top speed?

you will have to remove the speed governer. this is the sole reason for "topping out" your car other than "redlinning

It has no governor. Top speed and engine rpms are controlled by the computer. So I need a new ECU, to get it to stop kicking down once i hit 110mph? Yeah cause i have a 2000 and it kicks me down from 110 as well... I mean it shifts into 4th at like 105. Its really annoying
