My Computer Hard Drive C Program Files - Is it safe to delete files in this directory?

Depends. If you have used control panel - uninstall to get rid of a program, but part of it still remains in Program Files, then by all means attempt to delete it there.
On the other hand if you want to keep one a program, do not delete it.
It depends on what the file is. If it is a system file, you do not want to delete it as it would more than likely destroy some of the functions of your computer.

∙ 15y agoNo. Program Files is where Windows dumps applications automatically and deleting something that you don't know about in there may make other programs stop working. best best is to use "Add/Remove" in the control panel.
