My MacBook OS X is not letting me log on even with my password. I typed the correct password and it is still not letting me in. What do I do?

If you have having difficulty logging in to a user accound on a MacBook Pro, first verify that your username and password are correct. If you are still having difficulty, it would be best to contact Apple for support.

UNfortunately, you would need to know the password to re-set it. It's possible you could import the file into OpenOffice - but you would still need the original password !

Wherever you use a username and a password, you have to type both exactly the way you specified them when you registered (or were assigned both). This includes the correct combination of uppercase and lowercase, at least for the password, sometimes also for the user name. If you don't remember the correct username or password, or if you think you do but still can't log in, in some sites you can use a password recovery procedure, where for example a link is mailed to the email you specified when registering.
Should i get the MacBook white or the MacBook Pro?
Personally, I would get a macbook pro. I have one (the 13 inch one) and it is really good. I really didn't like the macbook white being - white and I didn't like the shape either. I know that macbook pro's are more expensive, but you could use a student card to get a discount and if not I still think that they are worth it. But that's my opinion.

You can. You have to create a user name and password though, just like an email account. Then you can sign in!

MacBook Pro does not come with eSATA support. If you have MacBook Pro with ExpressCard support, you can get adapter which would allow you to use eSATA. Note: Latest MacBook Pro laptops do not come even with ExpressCard support. Firewire is the fastest available option right now (2010).

It's still gonna hurt but if you truely love them, you want them to be happy. If them being with someone else is what lakes them happy then letting them go will make it easier than holding on.
