Don't know...but there are problems with the ignition lock tumblers wearing. Quick fix for a stuck key is to tap the lock while trying to turn the key. This will allow tumblers to fall into place so the key will turn. This fix will get you home, but not fix the problem. What causes your horn and emergency flashers to go off when there is no alarm and how do you fix the problem on a 1995 Kia Sephia?
Answer Sounds like a factory alarm, it will happen if, for instance, you lock your car with your remote, but unlock it with your key. Try using your remote to lock and then unlock your car. If that doesn't work, unhook the negative terminal of your battery, as soon as you reconnect it, the alarm should go off again, lock and unlock it with your remote and that should fix it.
Vapor lock occurs when the gasoline vaporizes between the tank and the engine. This occurs when the fuel line is routed around the engine so that the fuel is heated to the point of vaporization. When this occurs the engine will run roughly and will lack power because of the inconsistent amount of liquid fuel reaching the carburetor's, or fuel injectors.
This happens when the keypad isn't used to lock/unlock example when refueling if you don't lock the car then return to try and start the engine the security light illuminates the car runs for a second or two then stalls but if you lock/unlock the car will start the security light will not illuminate hope this helps
How do you fix a car trunk lock that won't open with the key or inside unlock lever but will open using the remote?
That would depend on several factors. The location of the lock and what need to be done. Is the problem the lock itself or the linkage connected to the lock ( as in a car door that was improperly opened with a slim Jim or coat hanger). The charges would depend on what parts need to be replaced, if any and the labor involved. Call your local locksmith and get an estimate.
