Usually things like this can be quite varied depending on how severe the illness is. It can take up to a week or more to recover fully, however your guinea pig needs even more nutrients than usual so eating is important, if your guinea pig is not eating well you may consider blending high vitamin foods such as carrots, celery, romaine lettuce, tomatoes, and veggies, especially those with lots of vitamin c. You would feed the blended food through a syringe to your guinea pig. Your pig may resist that is normal because many animals especially small ones will stop eating when they are sick or injured to make suffering shorter. Over time your pig will start to feel better and will become more active and more interested in eating. Ask your vet if you notice any problems occurring that you might be worried about. Good Luck!!!
