My guinea pig was put to sleep unexpectedly last night he was only 2 and I can't get over the sadness I even stayed home from school today I were so sad. what should you do to get over it?

In this kind of situation some people like to get a new pet to replace the old pet, but other people believe that their old pet cannot be replaced - that is a decision you can make for yourself. If you do not get another pet, you may wish to direct your thoughts to other matters. Perhaps you might want to read a Harry Potter novel. Or whatever appeals to you.

But if you only have one then as long as you regulary visit it and care for it when your not at school it should be fine. To stop it from getting lonely you could sometimes leave treats and small guinea pig toys in the hutch for it to play with during the day. Hope this helps!
