My hair is very thick and it will not straighten very well at all with a straightener what should I do?

You have to be patient and get very little amounts of hair with your hand and straighten it, then after a couple minutes you will notice the deferance... remember be patient.
Taking thin sections when straightening your type of hair texture is very important and you may need to increase the heat on your flat iron. Round brushing your hair with a hair dryer before using a flat iron will also make it easier for you.
