My rabbit keeps urinating all over herself and it stinks so should I give her a bath and if so what happens when I put her in the water?

more information: Be careful about grooming products because lots of them are bad for rabbits - even if they're made for rabbits specifically! Remember that rabbits have very sensitive skin, and they lick themselves so whatever you put on them ends up inside them. Pet supply companies are sometimes more interested in money than your bunny's wellbeing.
If you have to bathe your bunny, plain water is best. If shampoo is necessary, look for something from the health store that's as natural as possible: no scents, colours, medications (including herbs with medicating properties), harsh chemicals, etc.
Baths can be dangerous for rabbits. They can be stressful, and if the rabbit panics, it can seriously injure itself. Avoid baths if at all possible. Other dangers include hot water or the blow dryer can burn your rabbit's skin, water in the ears can lead to an infection, and hypothermia if the wet rabbit is exposed to cool or windy weather.
Normal, happy, healthy rabbits don't pee all over themselves. A bath will only treat the symptoms but you need to find out what's wrong! Bring your rabbit to a vet with experience and knowledge in rabbits, specifically, because they're really different from dogs and cats.
