My son age 41 passed away 4 years ago and I never had dreams of him until the other night and he appeared as 7 or 8 years old and I was hugging him and crying with joy and kissing him Why now?

I'm very sorry for the loss of your 41 year old son 4 years ago; it's particularly difficult for a parent to lose a child. Grieving is a very individual thing; your experience is not rare. There was something that have not been ready to deal with until now; perhaps it is grieving the loss of your son as you remember him when he was 7 or 8. (I did understand the question). Another possibility why this is coming up now is that you fear, perhaps not quite consciously, another loss of some kind, and your dreams are giving you a subtle hint about what it might be that you do not want to lose.
