My unopened eggnog is almost ten days past the expiration date can i still drink it?

I'm drinking eggnog right now and it's currently 7 days past its date. It was opened on the first day I got it, but was not contaminated by drinking straight from the jug. It was also kept in the fridge below 40 degrees. If anything, it seems to taste a bit better than the first day to me.
