NASA, the CIA, and the Peace Corps are all government agencies in the United States. NASA is responsible for the country's civilian space exploration and research, the CIA is an intelligence agency that focuses on gathering and analyzing information related to national security, and the Peace Corps is a volunteer program that provides assistance and development initiatives in countries around the world.

How have the peace corps volunteers helped?

It is very difficult to quantify the benefits of Peace Corps. Peace Corps has been sending volunteers to countries that request them for 50 years, so there must be positive outcomes. The Peace Corps' mission has three simple goals:Helping the people of interested countries in meeting their need for trained men and women.Helping promote a better understanding of Americans on the part of the peoples served.Helping promote a better understanding of other peoples on the part of Americans. As a returned volunteer and someone who has documented volunteers in 22 countries around the world it is my opinion that the way the Peace Corps "helps" is by bringing together people. People look at Peace Corps as a big agency, and they look for results as if Peace Corps volunteers were going into countries en masse and doing large development projects. That is not how Peace Corps works. Once Peace Corps volunteers get through training they are then placed on their own with an agency of the country where they serve and they live amongst the people they serve, so that they become integrated into the culture and work at the grass roots. Because of this Peace Corps volunteers develop a greater understanding of where they serve, and the people they serve learn about our country through the Peace Corps volunteer. So, it is this exchange ... a development of understanding between different people, that is how Peace Corps helps. Then the volunteers bring what they learn back to the United States and helps spread this understanding and awareness of others.

Why does the peace corps go to Romania?

They were in Romania for help; now we have not members of the Peace Corps. Unfortunately Romania is invaded now by strange and ridiculous sectarians (Mormons, Yechowists, Adventists, Pentecostals etc.) from the United States; they are not liked by the Romanian people (with a much older religion and more serious than theirs), and all wish to no longer see here these annoying people.

Does the us space corps run americas explorations into space?

We're not sure who or what the "us space corps" is. It may be a clandestine activity that's somehow part of Starfleet Command. Up until the completion of the Space Shuttle program in mid-2011, all of the US' space "explorations" have been conducted by NASA, the National Aeronautics and Space Administration, an agency funded and operated by the federal government. After that date, NASA still retains primary responsibility for space operations of all kinds, but supply, maintenance, and crew-change missions to the International Space Station will necessarily have to involve launch vehicles from other countries and from private industry, since NASA has no manned-launch capability just now.
