"invertebrates"
I do not know if there is an exact percentage, but I do know that the of the known species, the most are invertebrates. This is because bugs are invertebrates. There are so many different species of bigs, just the insects alone, that we cannot find and name them all. Also you have many other groups of invertebrates.
Invertebrates include arthropods, which covers insects, centipedes, millipedes, crustaceans and arachnids, just to name a few. They are, quite simply, any animal without a backbone. Vertebrate means backbone, so if its a vertebrate animal it's an animal with a backbone. The back bone is the trait the separates them from invertebrates.
An invertebrate, as the name displays, is an animal without a vertebrae (a spine) Crabs are invertebrates because they have no spine.
yes
Invertebrates are animals that lack a backbone, and they include a diverse range of species. Some common examples are jellyfish, octopuses, crabs, earthworms, and insects like butterflies and ants. Other notable groups include mollusks (such as snails and clams) and echinoderms (like starfish and sea urchins). Collectively, invertebrates make up about 95% of all animal species on Earth.
Animals which are invertebrates are those without backbones, such as: insects, spiders, mollusks, worms, sponges, jellyfish, starfish, etc
The name of a collection of wild animals depends on the type of animal. For example, groups of wolves are a pack, groups of reindeer are a herd and groups of crocodiles are a bask.
