Another name for living things is 'biotic'.
The name for the nonliving parts is a Abiotic Factors.
Spontaneous generation. It was proved false, by numerous scientists, but ultimately Louis Pasteur, and eventually was replaced with the theory Biogenesis--that living things arise from living things
The name of all living things in an area includes plants, animals, fungi, and microorganisms, while nonliving things encompass elements like rocks, water, air, soil, and man-made structures. Together, these components form an ecosystem, where living organisms interact with their physical environment. Each element plays a crucial role in maintaining the balance and health of the ecosystem.
Materialist.....maybe? edit: I was thinking more of love for nonliving-nonvaluable things. Like, plants or houses or lamps. Random nonliving things Plants are living things....unless you're a vegan with no compassion for plant life. I found the word objectum-sexual for people in love with inanimate things. Hopefully that is closer to what you had in mind. If not, we may have to invent a new word.
Organism is another term used to refer to a living thing.
Something that is dead is non living, but something that is non living isn't necessarily dead (that's probably confusing). Example: rocks are non living but not dead. Dead means it once lived but does no more. Non living usually means it never lived. http://www.usoe.k12.ut.us/curr/science/sciber00/7th/classify/living/2.htm
